Collaboration
Many organisations in Western Australia are open to collaboration with other groups locally and internationally. Some key groups are listed below, while most associations have a collaborative role in the industry.
ICT Industry Collaboration Centre (ICTICC)
The ICT Industry Collaboration Centre (ICTICC) was formed to collaborate on activities to develop and promote ICT in WA. ICTICC brings together associations representing horizontal and
vertical segments of the ICT industry and maintains strong links to the
WA Government.
Information Industry Forum (IIF)
A forum bringing together representatives from various government agencies and representatives of many industry and professional associations, and ICTICC. This group allows for high level discussion and information exchange to ensure that industry has input into government and is informed of relevant activities. Topics under discussion include government ICT procurement, regulations and standards, policy and future plans.
ProjectConnect and the Industry Capability Network (ICN)
The Western Australian ICT Industry Capability Directory contains a list of
WA ICT companies that provide products and services in hardware,
software, call centre services, telecommunications, data management,
internet, multi-media and professional training and consultancies. ProjectConnect allows fast access to project opportunities in WA.
ICTWA Industry Directory
The ICTWA Portal will be extended in the near future to include a directory of organisations. This directory will not only list details about companies, but also an indication of R&D and collaborative interests.
