History

ICTWA began as the ICT WA Conference - the ICT Conference for Western Australia. The ICT WA ran from 2005-7 and showcased much of WA's talent in the ICT industry.

In 2007 the ICT Industry Collaboration Centre (ICTICC) organisers of he ICT WA Conference, decided that ICTWA was more than an event, it was the brand for the ICT industry in Western Australia. 

An initial web presence was developed in 2007.  It was clear that ICTWA needed to grow as a brand, and required a Portal to fully serve the local industry.  This site is the current phase of the ICTWA Portal.  It will be officially launched by Minister Fran Logan on 28th July 2008.
